Two island of polystyrene, artificial flowers and grass, 600 x 250 cm
Lui e Lei was exhibited at Laghi Gemelli in Bergamo, Italy from July to September 2014
Once upon a time two deeply entwined lovers escaping from the unapproval of their families travelled to the Orobic Alps. It was here that the two lovers tragically fell from a high cliff. On falling to the ground the couple were transformed into two lakes, called the Twins Lakes.
For many years both lakes remained separated divided by a small patch of earth, but in 1932 due to the construction of a Dam the water level rose joining the two lakes forming one large lake and reuniting our two lovers.
